(Newser) – A Florida company has thought better of its decision to sell a doll bearing the name of slain toddler Caylee Anthony, the Orlando Sentinel reports. The “Inspirational Caylee Sunshine Doll” was to go on sale today for $29.99; it plays the song You Are My Sunshine when its belly button is pushed.

“After reviewing the response to our media introduction of the Sunshine Caylee Doll and listening to the general public we feel it best to suspend the launch of The Sunshine Caylee Doll,” a Showbiz Promotions statement said. “This is an example of another person trying to profit from Caylee’s death,” said a lawyer for her grandparents, Cindy and George Anthony. "After I have a chance to research it, I will likely take whatever legal action I can."

He has never met my clients, spoken to my clients and has not gotten authority of any type to do this. And after I have a chance to research it, I will likely take whatever legal action I can.

Hold on a minute! These "showbiz promotions" people needed outside opinion to determine that their idea was offensive? And that lawyer for grandma and grandpa meant to say,"...I will likely take whatever money I can." Hello Folks! It's dog eat dog time up there in the big leagues.
