(Newser) – Comcast has apologized to Tucson-area viewers whose Super Bowl coverage was interrupted by a porn clip, reports the Arizona Daily Star. The cable company blames a mysterious "malicious act" for the graphic content that flashed across viewers' screens, and is offering a $10 credit to those who saw the clip, which featured full male nudity.

"We take this matter seriously,” said a spokesman for the company, which is continuing to investigate. Comcast officials aren't sure how the 30-second clip from an adult channel was inserted into the signal from a local station during the final minutes of Sunday's game, although a technical glitch has been ruled out.

wow Comcast..wow! I wish there was another cable/internet provider where I live.....this would have NEVER happened with Cox or any other company most likely. This was an inside job no doubt, because Comcast is an inferior company in its field and hires inferior workers (the likes of which enjoy streaming male porn during prime time for your kids to see). I've hated Comcast since I first had to sign up with them for high-speed internet. And I swear to God I better not lost freakin signal during this years Super Bowl (which happened last year as I tried to watch my Saints, yeh i was mortified)....sure hope I get to jump on the lawsuit bandwagon whenever Comcast F*s somethin up worse.

Amazed at the ignorant people making political jokes. It wouldn't have seemed a joking matter if you had been one of the many parents that had to speak with their children after the porn broadcast

Maybe if they claim it was an honest mistake, Obama will give them a cabinet position.
