Comcast Apologizes for Super Bowl Porn

Cable company blames 'malicious act' for randy interruption

(Newser) – Comcast has apologized to Tucson-area viewers whose Super Bowl coverage was interrupted by a porn clip, reports the Arizona Daily Star. The cable company blames a mysterious "malicious act" for the graphic content that flashed across viewers' screens, and is offering a $10 credit to those who saw the clip, which featured full male nudity.

"We take this matter seriously,” said a spokesman for the company, which is continuing to investigate. Comcast officials aren't sure how the 30-second clip from an adult channel was inserted into the signal from a local station during the final minutes of Sunday's game, although a technical glitch has been ruled out.

Maybe if they claim it was an honest mistake, Obama will give them a cabinet position. Reply

Amazed at the ignorant people making political jokes. It wouldn't have seemed a joking matter if you had been one of the many parents that had to speak with their children after the porn broadcast Reply
