(Newser) – Sean Penn today joined the push to recognize Harvey Milk's birthday in California, Variety reports. State senator Mark Leno is re-introducing a bill seeking a statewide “day of significance” on May 22, the birthday of the gay activist Penn won an Oscar for portraying. Schools would be encouraged to mark the day, but the bill won’t cost the state anything, Leno said.

I dont like Penn, he has been and always will be a spoiled arrogant hollywood brat, and he was a beater when he was maried to madonna...(ok I may let that one pass lol) and a liberal......as for Milk.....whatever.....as for "gay rights" ....no....Your rights should not change because of your sexual orientation.....and that also means that people who are not gay should not malign you for it....discrimination on the other hand....should not be tolerated period
