Blago's Book Bad News for Emanuel

Ex-gov likely went with small publisher so he could bash Rahmbo

(Newser) – Why is Rod Blagojevich’s tell-all book coming from such a small publisher? The press release says it’s so everyone’s favorite ex-governor can share his story “without restriction over content,” but Cindy Adams of the New York Post thinks she knows the real reason. Blago’s book is sure to throw Rahm Emanuel under a bus, she reasons, and Emanuel’s brother, talent agent Ari, is so well-connected that no major house would touch the thing.

Adams cites “billowing winds,” which suggest that publishers and editors at major houses were pressured to cancel or avoid meetings about the book. The press release even alludes to it, saying, “Some people in high places didn’t want” this book “and worked to squash the deal.” Bottom line? Expect Blago to name names and trash major VIPs. “The president is not treated adoringly,” Adams warns.

Did you ever "think" about the number of Republicans vs Democrats who actually pay taxes. You might also "think about the number of Dems living off the govt check vs Republicans. Yes, from your perspective Republicans must seem stupid to pay taxes and support the country when they could be "smart thinkers" and contribute nothing while collecting money from the dumb taxpayers.

It is funny how quickly the leftist pack turns on the injured one of "their own" and devours him. Anything to keep the handouts coming I suppose.
