(Newser) – VH1 is reviving Behind the Music—yes, it was gone—after the success of last fall’s popular New Kids on the Block special. “It felt like the time was right,” a network exec tells the Hollywood Reporter. “There’s all sorts of new artists who have emerged.” Kicking off the rebirth are 10 new episodes, featuring stars like Lil Wayne and Scott Weiland.

Lil Wayne, here arriving at the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards, will be among the subjects featured in VH1's new Behind the Music episodes.

I miss pop up video....all the seemingly trivial facts tied into the video...was a fantastic concept.....I wish they would bring that back
