(Newser) – Stocks tried to end the quarter on a positive note this morning, taking back some of what they lost in yesterday’s sell-off. The Dow added 75 points, while the Nasdaq and S&P were up 1% and 1.4% respectively. GM wasn’t in on the rally though; its shares slid another 3%. It’s been a brutal first quarter for stocks, with the Dow down 14.3% since the year began.
