Caylee's Grandparents Defend Casey

Parents angrily defend their daughter in depositions

Share

(Newser) – Caylee Anthony’s grandparents angrily defended their daughter yesterday while giving depositions in a civil suit related to the 2-year-old’s disappearance, People reports. Cindy and George Anthony repeatedly threatened to walk out on the lawyers taking the depositions. "Until this day, I still believe that she's protecting Caylee and the family," Cindy Anthony said of Casey, 23.

"You guys have torn apart my family so much, every single one of you," said a furious George Anthony during his testimony. "You don't realize what you've done to us, and you don't care.” The deposition at an Orlando law office resulted from a defamation of character civil suit brought by Zenaida Gonzalez against Casey Anthony, the Sentinel reports. Anthony maintains that another Zenaida Gonzalez kidnapped her daughter.

To some degree they are. They raised a spoiled, self-centered, narcissistic daughter, who even they referred to as a habitual liar, and who they opposed giving her baby up for adoption. Even though they know the nature of Casey, they still try to protect her and lie for her -- who is on Caylee's side? That poor little baby didn't have a chance with this family.

Um, Casey tore apart her own family? Her child is missing and she's caring about being late, etc? Reply
