Madonna Fell All By Herself: Photog

Paparazzo and cops say he left before Madge's horse dumped her

(Newser) – A photographer Madonna blames for a weekend tumble off her horse in the Hamptons claims he had nothing to do with the accident—and local cops back his version, reports the New York Daily News. A spokeswoman claims Madonna was thrown when her horse was startled by a paparazzo, but he says he was shooting before she fell, then left because he had no vantage point. He returned when he heard about the accident, says he.

"I arrived more than 10 minutes after she fell, and I was shooting from the street," says the pap. "I don't know what [Madonna's spokeswoman] is talking about."

Guy Ritchie's lack of support after Madonna cracked a rib in an earlier fall from a horse was reportedly one of the factors that contributed to their divorce.

Not a surprise at all - I'm sure the PR spin started the moment she hit the ground. She probably everyone in the horse riding community would laugh their behinds off at her if she had TWO highly publicized falls, so she thought "there was a pap here earlier, I'll say he spooked the horse!" Reply

Anyone who knows anything about riding, knows that its not if, its when, when referring to being thrown from horse. I have been thrown more times than i count. So Jojo I'm not laughing at her for being thrown. And you wouldn't either if you were a professional! I do not know what the truth is, but i do know that flash from a camera will spook a horse and may cause a person to get thrown. I also know that sometimes jumping off or being thrown off is the best solution for a rider! Reply

Madonna needs a 'bomb proof' horse. Get a nice, retired police horse; they can walk thru a riot and not get spooked Reply

Guy Ritchie told her to get over it and come down off her 'high horse'... she misunderstood him... Reply

If she is outside, there wouldn't have been a flash from the camera at all, there is no point. I think she had a Lady Diana complex! Reply
