(NEWSER) - Walt Disney Co. has struck a deal with YouTube to show clips from ABC and ESPN shows on the video-sharing site, Variety reports. Facing another year of red ink—YouTube still isn't profitable, the Wall Street Journal says—the company agreed to let Disney show ads along with the clips as long as it shares the profits. New streaming deals signed with both

(NEWSER) - Finally, some good news for Netflix subscribers: More streaming content is being added thanks to an expanded deal with Disney-ABC Television Group, Mashable reports. The agreement extends the existing deal in order to introduce new shows including Alias and Switched at Birth. The caveat is, however, that Disney-ABC also signed a new deal with Amazon in order to bring shows to Amazon’s Prime streaming service—meaning Netflix's supply of exclusive content continues to dwindle. (NEWSER) - Disney shareholders have re-elected Steve Jobs to the company's board of directors despite an advisory firm's concerns about his poor health. The Apple chief—who owns more than 7% of Disney stock and has been on the board since Disney acquired Pixar in 2006—missed nearly three-quarters of board meetings last year.
