(AP) – Mike Tyson's 4-year-old daughter died today after accidentally hanging herself from a cord dangling from a treadmill in the family home. Exodus Tyson had been on life support since being found yesterday by her older brother in their Phoenix home. Mike Tyson was in Las Vegas at the time but flew home after getting word of the accident.

"Somehow she was playing on this treadmill, and there's a cord that hangs under the console—it's kind of a loop," said a local police sergeant. "Either she slipped or put her head in the loop, but it acted like a noose, and she was obviously unable to get herself off of it."

Court allows woman to sue estate of Chicago teen killed by train

(NEWSER) - An appeals court in Illinois has decided that a dead Chicago teen can be sued for injuries caused by his own flying body parts. The 18-year-old almost-passenger ran in front of a train in an attempt to catch another train and was hit by an Amtrak going 70mph. A big chunk of his body was thrown onto a platform 100 feet away where it knocked down a 58-year-old woman, breaking her leg and wrist. The court decided that the teen's death was "reasonably foreseeable" and allowed the woman to sue his estate, the Chicago Tribune reports. More»

3rd Body Found in Yosemite River

Discovery is likely waterfall victim Ramina Badal

(NEWSER) - Yosemite park rangers believe a grim find in the Merced River will allow them to close the books on one of the park's worst tragedies. A body discovered in the river is believed to be that of 21-year-old Ramina Badal, the third of three young hikers swept over a 317-foot waterfall last summer , AP reports. Another body found trapped under house-sized boulders last week has been identified as one of the victims. The bodies were likely found because the river is at its lowest level of the year. (NEWSER) - Muhammad Ali and several boxing greats attended the funeral of former heavyweight champion Joe Frazier in Philadelphia today. Ex-champs Larry Holmes and Michael Spinks joined the crowd at a north Philly baptist church, where condolence videos were shown from Mike Tyson, Mickey Roarke, and Donald Trump, the Philadelphia Inquirer reports. Jesse Jackson stirred the crowd by asking them to "show their love" for Frazier, who died last week after a battle with liver cancer, reports the AP . More»
