Tone Loc OK After Collapsing Onstage

'80s rap superstar rushed to Fla. hospital

(Newser) – Tone Loc is on the mend after collapsing during a concert early this morning in Pensacola Beach, Fla., the News Journal reports. The 1980s rapper, 43, fell victim to the heat and the stress of a 12-hour journey from California, his manager said. The mastermind of megahits Funky Cold Medina and Wild Thing was rushed by ambulance to a nearby hospital, where he was treated and released.
