Jonas Brothers 'Tested and Tested' on Abstinence: Mom

She won't hate them if they 'make mistake'

Share

(Newser) – Fame doesn’t exempt sons from being embarrassed by their moms. Just ask the Jonas Brothers, who may be a little red-faced at reading what mom Denise told Good Housekeeping about their sex lives. “They are men. They have desires,” she said. “If they make a mistake, I’m not going to hate them. They are tested and tested, like every one of us. I pray for them.”

“They’ve been criticized for proclaiming things they never proclaimed,” Mama Jonas said, defending the purity rings Kevin, 21, Joe, 19, and Nick, 16, all wear. “And what’s the criticism? They don’t want to go out there giving everyone an STD? What's so terrible about that?”

Uhhhh, duh!!! We are sexual creatures, as evidenced by our massive global population. And further, they could have easily broken this silly pledge without mom knowing. Reply

LMAO @ lo9an, that pledge flew out the window as soon as they were out of sight of Mom on the tour LOL when the "little head" takes over the big head forgets all in a young male. Now if they were female what would this Mom say or do. She would need to be with them 24/7 no matter the kids gender to be sure and that isn't going to happen in real life. Reply

It's funny that no one criticizes her. If a father made this remark after allowing his 16 year old daughter to tour the world and live on his own, there would be outrage. Reply
