Instead, it's one little comment Baldwin made about 30 Rock, telling New York that "next year is our last year of the show." Tina Fey's show starts new season tonight

(NEWSER) - Tina Fey and crew return tonight with the season premiere of 30 Rock, and critics are worried that the show is losing its edge:

• Todd VanDerWerff, AV Club: "30 Rock is still nowhere near a bad show, but it risks turning into a show where one-dimensional people spend a lot of time shouting at each other."
• Robert Bianco, USA Today: "As funny as this scattershot sitcom can be, the problem remains that show business (and in particular, GE's business) is a topic of limited long-haul mass appeal. ... It had better up its game. And expand it."

Close, Cranston snag back-to-back drama awards for leading roles; Collette, Baldwin top comedy winners

(NEWSER) - The Emmy Awards ended with a spell of deja vu as Mad Men won its second consecutive best drama trophy and 30 Rock captured its third straight best comedy award tonight in Los Angeles. Glenn Close of Damages and Bryan Cranston of Breaking Bad, last year's winners for lead roles in dramas, also repeated, and The Amazing Race took home its seventh consecutive award for reality programming, the Los Angeles Times reports.
