(Newser) – In a breach of Scientology protocol, John Travolta admitted his son was autistic, the National Enquirer reports. A statement to Bahamas police following the January death of 16-year-old Jett included a line from Travolta, “My son Jett suffered from a seizure disorder and he was autistic.” In the past, the Travoltas said Jett suffered from a rare blood-vessel disease. how are they harmed? if anything they're going to be helped. What he's done is open up and admit that the disease exists. Scientologists are deniers of such diseases. He's the potential start of HELPING with this new public view, not harming!

True, but how many other scientologists are convinced by a famous guy like him, or Cruise, continuing to publicly dispute that this disease exists? He was honest in his private life, but how many other children of scientologists are harmed by his public views?
