Brown Cops to Assault, Avoids Jail

(Newser) – R&B star Chris Brown pleaded guilty to felony assault today and will get 5 years’ probation but no jail time, TMZ reports. Also included: Six months of labor, mandatory court visits every three months, and a restraining order keeping him 50 yards from his victim, singer Rihanna, at all times. The judge said Brown “was treated as any other person who comes through this court.”

kokoguy, firstly, i'm not your dear. maybe in hawaii, civil people learn from mistakes this street punk thug is not now, and will not ever become civil. time will tell, i think he will be in prison before his 5 year probation is served.

At present, Mr. Brown is enjoying learning from his own mistakes, rather than the mistakes of others. The judge did him no favor; sadly, I have a feeling he'll be back.
