Breakfast treats are evidence in string of auto break-ins

(Newser) – Pop-Tarts proved a key ingredient in the arrest of two young Florida men for burglary, the Orlando Sentinel reports. The pair asked a cop for a ride home early yesterday; the policeman said he had to search them first—finding a collection of high-tech gadgets and a pack of Pop-Tarts. A neighborhood canvass turned up a batch of nearby auto break-ins, and located the vehicle missing the snacks.

The Pop-Tarts were safely returned to their owner.

So glad to live in Florida. We're number 1. I guess I would rather have bad criminals than good ones.
