(NEWSER) - Needless to say, Gawker isn’t all that impressed with Barbara Walters’ annual list of the year’s 10 most fascinating people . The good news is, that didn’t stop blogger Seth Abramovitch from offering up his own list, of the year’s 10 least fascinating people, in response:

• Piers Morgan: “The turnip-headed reality star turned CNN seat-filler loves Twitter wars and speaking over his guests almost as much as no one gives a s*** about him.”
• Brett Ratner: Despite getting himself in the middle of an Oscars-related controversy this year, he “remains the least interesting filmmaker of his generation” and you probably can’t think of a single interesting scene in a movie he’s made.

Cooper jokes about 'People' win

(NEWSER) - Even Bradley Cooper doesn't think he should have been named People's Sexiest Man Alive . In a recent appearance on Britain's Graham Norton Show, Cooper admitted that since receiving the title, he's "started to realize just how not sexy I am." One devoted band of New York activists had very different priorities yesterday: Letting People magazine know that Ryan Gosling is the real Sexiest Man Alive, not Bradley Cooper . "Bradley Cooper is just fine, but Ryan Gosling is divine," chanted demonstrators outside People's Manhattan office in a protest apparently orchestrated by a Buzzfeed editor, notes Gawker . (NEWSER) - Yes, it’s that time of year again … time for Ryan Reynolds to hand over his Sexiest Man Alive crown to fluent French-speaker Bradley Cooper, because People decrees it so. An apparently humble Cooper tells the mag, "I think it's really cool that a guy who doesn't look like a model can have this [title]. I think I'm a decent-looking guy.
