Meghan McCain’s book is set to be released next spring, and she’s already plotting the movie version. “I want Hilary Duff to play me,” she tells the New York Daily News. “I think she’s really hot—hotter than me.” It’s unclear how exactly McCain’s book, which she describes as exploring “what it means to be a progressive Republican in the party today,” would translate to the big screen.

Then again, the book is only “half political,” McCain reveals. The other half is a memoir: “It’s like Primary Colors meets Tori Spelling’s Tori Telling,” she says, adding that Sarah Palin has her own chapter, “but I don’t know who would play her” in the hypothetical movie. One cast member she definitely wants? “Bradley Cooper is so hot,” she says. “If  he can be in it, he will.” (More Meghan McCain stories.)
