New Fondle Pix Threaten G8 Shame for Berlusconi

(Newser) – Just as Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi hopes to rehab his tarnished reputation by hosting this week's G8 summit, a slew of breast-grabbing, "lesbian-kissing" photos threatens to bring him a new flood of embarrassment. Publications have bid for some 5,000 photos snapped at his Sardinia home the last 2 years, and plan to print them ahead of Wednesday's meeting in L'Aquila, reports the Times of London.

The photos include shots of two young women kissing each other as the aging leader grins, and another of Berlusconi's hand in the shirt of a young woman. Berlusconi's apparent dalliances with young women are cutting into his popularity. People shouted "whoremonger" and "pedophile" at him when he visited the scene of a deadly train wreck in Italy last week. In another complication, new tremors yesterday hit the site of the summit, which was devastated by an earthquake in April.

Antonello Zappadu is offering to sell several photos of Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi to publications ahead of this week's G8 summit in L'Aquila.

You would think some billionaire who bought all the media outlets in Italy and basically propagandized himself into office would behave better, wouldn't you?

Berlusconi would fit in quite nicely in ancient Rome. Now, not so much.

Oh yes, the shame. Can't we be adults and get over this nonsense? There are more important things to consider when deciding if a politician is bad (ordering the deaths of thousands in a phony war, torturing people, lying for money, etc.)
