Katie Crew Forced to Sign Scientology Censor Pact

Share

(Newser) – Holy scientology, Batman! The film crew on Katie Holmes' newest movie are being forced to sign pacts agreeing not to ask the scientology convert about her religion, reports the Australian Herald Sun. The Batman Begins actress, hubby Tom Cruise and daughter Suri are in Melbourne taking in the sights and finding a mansion during Katie's filming of Don't Be Afraid of the Dark. She reportedly kicked off an Aussie shopping spree with a $50,000 alligator skin Burberry handbag.

It's good to know scientology is strong enough to stand up to inquiry and criticism; it's an admirable trait. And I guess it's good that Katie converted only when she understood the beliefs well enough to make an informed decision ;-) Reply

Absolutely, Tameesha, I agree 100%. Not only are we funding their extravagant lifestyle, we're indirectly funding the Cult of Scientology to the tune of 7 figures. I for one have made the decision long ago to spare myself from such "classics" as "Valkyrie" and "Don't be Afraid of the Dark" and I seem to have made the right choice, especially in light of actions such as " ...hubby Tom Cruise...are in Melbourne taking in the sights and finding a mansion " A MANSION"?!?! Yes, that's what I do when I travel. I make sure to find a mansion :) This reads like a joke... "I'm Tom Cruise, Scientologist. I own a mansion and a yacht." Why in the world are we still patronizing this freakazoids and their cooky cult... In the same breath, I have gained a lot of respect for Jason Beghe: http://xenutv.wordpress.com/2008/04/21/jason-beghe-interview/ Some other interesting links: http://www.xenu.net/index.html http://www.tampabay.com/news/article1012148.ece http://www.nots.org/ http://counterfeitdreams.blogspot.com/ Be safe.
