Harry Potter Charms Wii

Share

(Newser) – Gamers don't have to go to Hogwarts to fly on a broomstick, stir up potions or win a wand duel. They can pull off virtually the same stunts by picking up Wii controls in the latest game created for the popular console. Electronic Arts' Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince boasts better stunts and more realistic characters than the last Potter game.

Gamemakers used the actors, who were filming the soon-to-be-released movie just an hour away in England, as models, and as "guinea pigs" for the stunts, reports CNN. The result is realistic faces that show emotion, "amazing detail," and "visually satisfying" flying, according to a USA Today review.

Whoever wrote this knows nothing of video games. Licensed games are almost universally bad - with the exception of games based on series but NOT released with a movie (like the new Ghostbusters game). Reply

Wow, what is this? The game has TERRIBLE face animations compared to hundreds of other games out there. What is the meaning of this article? Christ, do you know anything about games? Reply
