Limbaugh, O'Reilly Fury Boosts 'Latino MoveOn'

(Newser) – An advocacy group styling itself as the Latino MoveOn has infuriated both Rush Limbaugh and Bill O'Reilly, Joe Garofoli writes in the San Francisco Chronicle. The Berkeley online hub Presente is running a Spanish-language radio ad in Florida this week, urging GOP Rep. John Mica to rebuke Limbaugh's labeling of Sonia Sotomayor as a racist and a bigot.

The ad got play on Limbaugh's show, and Bill O'Reilly later chimed in, linking the group's members to the "radical left" of MoveOn. The irony is that the fledgling group has received way more publicity and airplay than it would have done had Limbaugh and O'Reilly ignored the ad, Garofoli notes. Presente is now enjoying a surge in donations, and plans more ads.

Move on groups are wrong, but swift boat groups are just fine. Rush and O'Reilly might want to consider that they coould be damaging the GOP further by raising a fuss about the Latino group. At least wait until the group does something to make a case about. Reply

The best way for the Hispanic community to counteract these crass people on drugs is to vote democratic all the trime-these people forget-and this skows their lack of peo[le skills-that the hispanic communbity will be the largest in the USA down te road-don't let these people forget that they will be a mijority someday and they should show respect for ALL ethnic groups-sad that people actually believe and listen to these intellectually chanlleged members of the right-just goes to show you-if you're right and republican you have to be wrong Reply
