300 Cars Torched in Bastille Day Riots

(Newser) – France's celebration of the 320th anniversary of rioters storming the Bastille was marred by major riots, Der Speigel reports. Over 300 cars were torched in cities across the country, and hundreds of arrests were made as youths hurled home-made explosives at police, injuring several officers. Authorities say the number of incidents is up from last year, despite the introduction of tough new laws to deter rioters.

Ok after reading "the article" it sounds like a bunch of not Frenchmen whinnying about not enough free stuff. Go back to Algeria if you do not like France. Or where ever you are from-go make something of your own country!

Given the ignorant direction "newser" is taking us, I'd have to say no. Follow the link to the original story if you really care to learn more...it's very typical of American news sources to give no background on why groups are protesting in the first place.
