Jindal: Dems' Health Care Reform 'Devastating'

(Newser) – President Obama “is currently just flinging stuff against the wall, in trillion-dollar chunks, to see what sticks,” and his plans for health care are no different, Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal writes on Politico. Thanks to failed bailouts and a “trillion-dollar stimulus that has not stimulated,” America is up to its neck in deficits, and the Democrats’ health plans will drive up costs and decrease quality. "This here is a fine pot of gumbo," scolds Jindal, a GOP hopeful for 2012.

The real shame is that Americans do want reform, but “reform that reduces costs, improves outcomes and puts patients in control.” Instead, Democrats are trying to push Americans into government-run care. "Businesses will, in effect, be forced to send employees into the Democrats’ government-run health care," he writes. "It’s really not something to argue about, it is a fact."

The government now wants to make sure you, and every other American, pay more in energy costs so former Vice President Al Gore can be happy.

Bobby Jindal was on the news this morning spouting his bullshit. This guy's state has the WORST HEATLH CARE RECORD IN THE US. His biggest fight is the deficit. THE DEFICIT WASN'T A PROBLEM WIHEN HE AND HIS PARTY WERE PUSHING IRAQ. That is what has increased our deficit to the point that it's in now. 90% of the deficit came from the Republican- Bush admn. And they once again want to push blame on Obama. When they have no solutions...use lies and fear tactics. People the American Medical Assoication who fights health care every chance it gets, has given their seal of approval for this health care plan. Even Drug companies are agreeing to cut $$$Billions on medicatins to help with the reform. It took 2 years to get Medicare bill, in 10 years...the Republicans have made NO CHANGES TO HELP AMERICA. They have fought a health bill over and over again. Maybe in Jindal and the rest of those jerks lost their insurance and had to buy policies like we have...they'd be singing a different tune.

what the hell is wrong with america? this country is so polarized, and the government is so broken. can't we just have some smart, moderate solutions without the waste and the lobbyist kick-backs?

I seriously think he's got some type of mental disorder. ...he seems like the type that storms buildings shooting minorities for their conspiracies against "real americans" like him.
