(Newser) – A filmmaker who persistently claims the moon landings were a hoax is beginning to look like a hoaxer himself, the Examiner reports. Bart Sibrel has produced documentaries labeling the Apollo landing a fake, but a new video has surfaced proving he deliberately mismatched NASA's audio and video footage to mislead viewers. Sibrel is notorious for stalking astronauts, and once got punched in the jaw by a furious Buzz Aldrin for blocking his path and calling him "a coward, a liar, and a thief."

I had to spend more time than I would have liked around conspiracy theorists, and they are EXTREMISTS in every sense of the word. The ones as hard core as this guy generally believe every single thing in the world is deliberate AND being done "against" them. I seriously think there is an associated mental disorder - flame me all you want. I'm talking about the people who not only believe all the usual conspiraces, JFK, the moon landing, 9/11, etc... but also think Anna Nicole Smith was murdered and it was New World Order related, that our government is constantly poisoning us to kill us off (because THAT would be sooo beneficial to have a country with no people, right?) even the contaminated pet food a couple years ago was carefully orchestrated to kill off our pets. All their "evidence" is found by youtubing and googling until they find ridiculous things posted by someone just like themselves. In fact, THIS entire story will be turned into "the government screwed with this tape and made the video and audio not match just to discredit him!" It NEVER stops and it's exhausting. I do not know how people can live like that. Every second of their life is spent talking about what the government is doing to us. Just live your life for f**** sake. Reply
