Secret Service Extends Protection for Cheney

Share

(Newser) – Former vice presidents lose their Secret Service protection 6 months after leaving office, but Dick Cheney is no ordinary former vice president. In a first, his protection will be extended for an indefinite period, CNN reports. Homeland Security chief Janet Napolitano signed off on the move, which was reportedly requested by Cheney. It's not due to any specific threats but rather to his continued high profile, one official said.

If he'd keep his fucking mouth shut....and stick his head up his ass where it was...he wouldn't be "high profile".

I know a perfect place HE BELONGS along with his baby brother GW Bush. They both belong in Leavenworth for their war crimes along with crimes against each and every person from Iraq directly or indirectly affected by his war and also for the lie's deceit and damage he did to this country. They could share a cell and be perfectly protected forever......until they both burn in hell

@reader what specific war crimes did these two men commit? What crimes did they commit against the Iraqi people? I mean other then just a broad statement do you have some specifics. Congress voted for us to go to war, W nor cheney got and just sent the troops over there. The congress did and they did so based off of intelligence that they were given. So like the saying goes hindsight is 20/20. so tell me what crimes did he commit against the Iraqi people, freeing them from a ruthless dictator?

godawgs, Bush and Cheney lied us into a war, and they lead and are responsible for the torture of prisoners at Abu Ghraib and Guantanamo Bay. Have you been living under a rock, or are you mindlessly playing Devil's advocate?
