Naked ESPN Vid May Have Been Inside Job

Network launches investigation to identify peeper

(Newser) – Nude video of ESPN reporter Erin Andrews—which hackers started using to spread viruses—was likely an inside job, a source tells Radar. ESPN employees are often booked at Hilton hotels when traveling for work, but the hotels Andrews was videotaped in have not been identified. ESPN is “freaking out, freaking!” over the possibility a fellow employee taped Andrews, the source adds.

A source from the French website where the videos were posted says the user uploading them identified himself as a 49-year-old American male. “Andrews has been grievously wronged here, our people and resources are in full support of her as she deals with this abhorrent act,” says an ESPN spokesperson. The network is launching an investigation to find the culprit.

The peephole thing bothers me. Hotel peepholes look OUT, so whomever did this either had to reverse the lens (not a big deal, but you do need access to the room), or know in advance that the lens was already reverse. Oh, and they had to know who was in the room!

Let's face it. She's popular in sports news because she's hot and she knows sports. But mostly because she's hot.

Interesting thought, but I would think that she would rather keep doing her job and be respected for her talents rather than her looks. Getting naked and making money when you look like that is eas , but to be respected and well thought of in a field dominated by men is priceless.
