Jon Gosselin's Reporter: I'm No Hooker

(Newser) – For those who thought the Gosselin saga couldn't get more tawdry: The Star reporter who quit after "falling for" interview-subject-and-dad-of-eight Jon is now denying reports that she once pounded the pavement in search of johns, reports the New York Daily News. Another NYC gossip monger tells the News that over drinks earlier this year, Kate Major, 26, asked if he knew anyone who had the "cash to afford" an evening with an attractive blonde.

"She wanted to pick my brain about the New York market," he said. "I said I'm not in the business anymore." Major called the accusation "pathetic, sick, and all lies. By no means would I ever have 'escort' in my vocabulary."

Well, it obviously is in her vocabulary. She didn't say, "escort? what does that mean?" I think this story is just silly.
