Penn State has knocked the University of Florida from its No. 1 spot … atop the Princeton Review’s “Best Party School” list. Each year, the Review ranks schools in a huge number of categories based on surveys of their students. A Penn State spokeswoman called it a “popularity contest,” among students. “The results are not connected to reality,” she tells the Pittsburgh Post Gazette. But here are some winners anyway:

  • Happiest students: Brown University
  • Best food: Virginia Tech
  • Is It food?: US Merchant Marine Academy
  • Stone-cold sober students: Brigham Young University
  • Reefer madness: University of California-Santa Cruz
  • Most politically active: George Washington University
  • Jock school: Clemson University
  • Dodgeball targets: Sarah Lawrence College
  • Most religious students: Thomas Aquinas College
  • Birkenstock-wearing, tree-hugging, clove-smoking vegetarians: Bard College
