(NEWSER) - It may be some time before the police chief of Sebeka, Minn., lives down the loss of police equipment to what must have been America's best-protected backyard fort. Eric Swenson called law enforcement Friday to report that stun grenades, gas grenades, gas shotgun rounds, loaded magazines for both a handgun and an AR-15 rifle, a police radio, and a pair of night vision goggles had been stolen from his home, the Fergus Falls Journal reports. Britney secures her comeback with seven nods

First family photo released

(NEWSER) - Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick introduced their week-old twin girls to the world yesterday via the first official photo, Us reports. Marion Loretta Elwell and Tabitha Hodge Broderick were born June 22 to a surrogate mom in Ohio, and joined the couple’s 6-year-old son James Wilkie. Happy couple looking forward to having newborns home

(NEWSER) - Matthew Broderick is “very happy” about the birth of his twins, he tells People. The new dad met them in Ohio, where they were born to a surrogate mother Monday night, before returning to New York for his Broadway play last night. The girls’ nursery is ready, and their parents are “looking forward to having them home,” a colleague says. (NEWSER) - Nothing too exotic for these guys. Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick's new baby girls are named Marion Loretta Elwell Broderick and Tabitha Hodge Broderick. Hodge and Elwell are names from Parker's side of the family, says a family rep. The couple hired a surrogate mother, who gave birth to the girls, both about 6 pounds, on Monday.
