Males ogle women for a solid year of their lives, study finds

(Newser) – Men check out 10 women every day, spending an average of 43 minutes with their eyes fixated on a member of the opposite sex—adding up to a full year over a lifetime, researchers tell the Sun. A Kodak Lens Vision study found that the wandering eye is not unique to men—women spend 20 minutes a day on six men, a total of 6 months of their lives.

(NEWSER) - There's good news out there for men who have ever been attracted to both men and women: Unlike the unicorn, you are real. Or so says a Northwestern University study, which goes a long way toward refuting a controversial 2005 study that found that “with respect to sexual arousal and attraction, it remains to be shown that male bisexuality exists.” Says the current study's lead author, “Someone who is bisexual might say, ‘Well, duh!’ But this will be validating to a lot of bisexual men who had heard about the earlier work and felt that scientists weren’t getting them.” More»

Most think they can tell whether it’s “the real thing” after a single date, whereas women aren’t certain until the sixth, a study finds. According to a study in the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, two-thirds of couples report that guys said the words first.
