Killer Cows Stomp Four Brits to Death

Share

(Newser) – A new kind of mad cow is plaguing Britain: four people have been trampled to death by bovines this summer, reports the Independent. This unusual spate of attacks by the generally docile animals prompted farmers yesterday to warn walkers against bringing dogs near cows—a factor in two of the fatal attacks.

Cows are naturally curious, but not generally considered aggressive.

Farm anyone? Cows aren't as sweet as they seem. I got cornered by two of them when I was ten and my grandmother screamed at me to take off my dress--seems cows don't like yellow. Remember that horrible old movie about all the animals going crazy? When the alpacas start bitting something is up. And this totally explains the fucking eagle that tried to steal my silver dog poop cannister on the beach the other day. It was attached to the leash and when I tried to pull it away this bird went wacko. I just let it go and watched him fly it up to the nearest tall pine. Franklin was right--eagles are wicked. He wanted the turkey to be the national bird--not some wicked carrion eating nasty pants. Reply

as a young teen living across from a cow pasture my nephews and me would always cross through the pasture on our way to the woods. sometimes stopping to attempt to get on one lying down. not a horse, backbone is too boney. but of all the traipsing through the pasture we were never bothered by these docile animals, even while attempting to ride them nor not even when their calves were present. dogs make cows panic. dogs are predators. and cows sense that i think.
