Brit Cops Hunt Burka-Clad Robbery Gang

Ax-wielding male thieves made off with cash, jewelry

(Newser) – British police are investigating three robberies in which men covered in burkas stole hundreds of thousands of dollars in cash and jewelry. In separate incidents, the men burst into travel agency and jeweler shops, threatening employees with a knife, a gun, and even an ax, reports the Independent. The crimes took place in different cities northwest of London, but police believe that the same gang may be at work: "The pattern the offenders have followed is strikingly similar," said one investigator.

If I were a career criminal, that would be the garb of my choice. These chattel are even insisting they need to be draped to drive and get their driver's license photo. The sooner the burqa is banned in all civilized countries, following France's lead, the better.

under a burqa you can disguise some heavy weaponry plus it hides your face. a grey spotted burqa can make up great urban camo too. forget about the fact that you get very limited visual span and it is hard running into that shower tent , burqa is the combat gear of the future for bank robbers !! it is also so uncospicuous !! hahaha! The UK doesn't 'allow' sharia law - it has its own legal system and it's applied to all residents and visitors. That some people practice sharia law isn't in question, but if reported/caught they will be tried in a UK court according to UK law. You cannot hide behind religion.
