Designer Sentenced to 59 Years for Sex Crimes

Alexander lured victims to his home with promises of modeling work

(AP) – A fashion designer has been sentenced to 59 years to life in prison for sexually assaulting aspiring models he lured to Los Angeles, AP reports. Anand Jon Alexander, 35, was convicted of 14 crimes, including forcible rape. His victims ranged in age from 14 to 21. Alexander, who has been featured on America's Next Top Model, often found women online. He baited them with promises of glamorous photo shoots, then molested or raped them at his Beverly Hills apartment.
