Tiny but determined American teen Melanie Oudin delivered the biggest upset of the US Open so far with a 5-7, 6-4, 6-3 victory over no. 4 Elena Dementieva today at Flushing Meadows, the New York Times reports. “When I play with no fear, that’s when I play my best,” said the no. 70 Oudin. “I just try to play my game and not worry about anything else.” Dementieva grudgingly conceded, “I feel she had a very good attitude today in the court.” (More Melanie Oudin stories.)
