Beatles Poised to Rule UK Charts Once Again

Fab Four expected to hold five top 20 spots

(Newser) – It’s a flashback to Beatlemania in Britain after the release of remastered versions of the band’s discography, Reuters reports. The Fab Four are expected to hold at least five of the top 20 spots on the pop charts when the sales week closes Saturday, along with 15 of the top 75 albums. “It is clear that the Beatles' enduring appeal shows no signs of waning," says one expert.

I don't remember the Beatles being called "The Fab Four" during their hey day. For some reason it irks me to hear them called that. Reply

Ok, I have to ask because it has been bugging the crap out of me. What is the love fest with the beetles. They SUCKED and they still SUCK! Before you piss your pants let me explain, they broke ground no doubt. They changed the face of rock in their own way. That does not mean that the music was any good. People like the beetles because it was and apparently is again cool to like the beetles. Get off the trend wagon and listen to real music. That is just my opinion on the matter. Reply

I love how people think appending "IMHO" on even the most idiotic and confrontational of arguments makes everything a-ok. But, hey, that's just me.

There was "The Beatles," and then, there was everyone else. Reply
