(Newser) – Arnold Schwarzenegger today urged California AG Jerry Brown to launch an investigation of ACORN, the Los Angeles Times reports. The governor acted after a video sting operation that's targeted ACORN offices around the country hit the group’s San Bernardino office. In the video released Tuesday, as in previous videos elsewhere, conservative activists dressed as a pimp and prostitute enter an ACORN office with a hidden camera and find employees willing to help them set up a brothel and “not get caught.”

In the San Bernardino video, one woman even boasts that she shot her husband, explaining that she “laid some groundwork” by going to domestic violence shelters first. “I believe it is appropriate that your office launch a full investigation,” Schwarzenegger wrote to Brown. A Brown spokesman said the office would review the tape, “and if we think there’s any wrongdoing, we’ll look into it, or refer it to the local” authorities.

Can we investigate Schwarzenegger for not taxing any of the rich or big corporations and for running a state where if you make $40k/year, you're in the top income tax bracket? You know, cause $40k gets you that big house, that big car, and that private school...You know, cause all the rich fled California....NOT!

Schwarzenegger is a waste of space. What has he done for his state except ruin it further? Schwarzenegger should be trying to fix his state, especially after the fires versus worrying about an organization that is being investigated by others who have the time to do an investigation
