Ginsburg Leaves Hospital, Heads to Work

(AP) – Ruth Bader Ginsburg was released from a Washington hospital today after spending the night as a precaution. The 76-year-old Supreme Court justice planned to be back at work later today. Ginsburg, who underwent surgery for pancreatic cancer in February, "developed lightheadedness and fatigue" in her office yesterday after receiving treatment for anemia, said a court statement.

Then again, I've only met a few democrats who were in 100% mental shape, so that point is moot. But, she should retire none-the-less.

She should quit now. I saw a video of her from the past few months. She looks like she could die anyday now. No change of power... just let the poor woman die in peace. Not to mention that she is probably not in 100% mental shape and yet, she is deciding the most important court cases in our country. Retire, madam.

(NEWSER) - Ruth Bader Ginsburg tells the AP , in a roundabout way, that she won't be retiring from the Supreme Court "anytime soon." The significance? Ginsburg is 78 and the court's oldest justice. She's also had health problems , and Democrats' worst-case scenario is that President Obama loses re-election, and Ginsburg has to retire soon afterward. (NEWSER) - John Roberts may be the chief justice of the United States, but he recently pulled out a dictionary to learn the meaning of “of” for a ruling. Justices are looking more and more to dictionaries to help them settle cases—a trend that worries both legal experts and dictionary makers, the New York Times reports. “I think that it’s probably wrong, in almost all situations, to use a dictionary in the courtroom,” says an editor of the Oxford English Dictionary.
