DJ AM Death Ruled Accidental

'Acute intoxication' from cocaine, oxycodone, Vicodin, Ativan, Klonopin, Xanax, Benadryl, Levamisole

(Newser) – The New York City Medical Examiner today closed the sad final chapter in the life of DJ AM, ruling his death accidental. Cause of death is listed as "acute intoxication" due to the combination of cocaine, oxycodone, Vicodin, Ativan, Klonopin, Xanax, Benadryl, and Levamisole.

Help me out here. It was an accident that he shoved all this junk in his hole!! I guess it was an accident that Hitler invaded Poland. That the death of all our men & women in Afghanistan is an accident. Oh well, better the Medical guy is in New york & not elsewhere. Reply

It was an accident insofar as he didn't necessarily intend to kill himself. Some people just REALLY like pills. I'd put money on it being the combination of uppers (cocaine) and downers (basically the rest of that laundry list) that did him in.
