John Edwards may have fathered Rielle Hunter's baby, but it's those other women...

(Newser) – Elizabeth Edwards is ready to divorce John and air all his dirty laundry in court, sources tell the National Enquirer—a tabloid that's been surprisingly accurate when it comes to the Edwards scandal. Elizabeth’s breaking point by way of former aide Andrew Young’s upcoming tell-all: “What really pushed her over the edge is Young's allegation that John had other affairs with women on the campaign trail,” the source says.

“Elizabeth basically told John that if she found out that was true, she'd have to divorce him because then he'd be a 'serial cheater.'" She "knows every dirty little secret in her husband's political past. She's been his confidant for years, and she's always kept quiet. But now she's prepared to reveal all his secrets in open court,” the source continues. Elizabeth made it clear to John that she will take him for everything he's got. She will divorce him and claim their $53 million fortune.”

Same here Caps, I don't care for her playing victim and sitting back doing nothing to take care of herself but if she separates and divorces this a-hole good for her, he needs to loose a large part of the one thing he does love and that is his $$$

hey, hey, hey, Caps ... why so hateful to whale crap? And, yes, she needs to be smart here. As she looks at her longevity, given her health issues, with small children and what appears like a gold-digger waiting in the wing, Elizabeth needs to secure her little one's futures by controlling the wealth she helped to amass.

Elizabeth Edwards is far from blameless here. She should have put her food down about his dishonest and reckless run for the presidency. But for Edward's participation in the crucial Iowa Caucus, we might have had our first female president in 2008 -- and not just ANY female. It's my bet that we'd also have ended up with our first African American VP, who after serving ably and loyally for eight years, would have gone on to win the White House for himself and the Democrats in 2016. I love President Obama, and pray for the safety of the President and his family regularly. But one can't help wondering what would have happened without this pathetic pretty-boy and his team of sycophants and connivers in the 2008 race. Unfortunately for Elizabeth and her legacy, she knowingly aided and abetted this ego-driven, sleazy, unethical enterprise.

This whole situation paints a vivid picture of they type of man he is. Rielle Hunter is crazy if she wants him in her life. She'll be next. Reply
