Twins' Granny Likes That Hef

Kristina and Karissa's grandma is happy for her girls

(Newser) – Apparently this is the week for celebrities’ grandmothers to come out of the woodwork. The latest: the grandma of Hugh Hefner’s 20-year-old twin girlfriends, Kristina and Karissa Shannon: “I got the sweetest letter from their grandmother who raised them,” Hef tells E! “She said how happy she was that they're here and they're good girls and that this was going to be a good thing for them.”

Hefner will soon be all over the place—in addition to The Girls Next Door, Hef-centric projects in the works include a feature film, a television series, a miniseries, and—best of all—a Broadway musical. “I think if you retire, then that's the beginning of the end,” he says. “I think the show and my job for the magazine, it's what keeps me alive.”

One of his former girlfriends said that she jumped him one night and he has no problem in that area. This was said on international T.V. Some would say that this amounts to elder abuse but she and he had fun. He is a use it or loose it type of guy.
