Publicist denies Twitter-spread 'report' that actor had committed suicide

(Newser) – From the don’t-believe-everything-you-see-on-Twitter department: Actor Zach Braff is in fact not dead, despite a fast-spreading rumor to the contrary. “He’s alive. It’s just another hoax,” an ABC rep says tonight of the Scrubs star, 34. Earlier in the day, Twitter was humming over a link to a fake CNN page reporting that Braff had apparently committed suicide.

You're all idiots. Braf is a hot Hollywood property. He's in demand as a producer-writer-director-actor. Has been loyal to Bill Lawrence, Scrubs' creator, and will appear in a few 9th season episodes this year, but really wants to do his own projects. "Garden State" made him a marketable entity.
