Balloon Boy Throws Up on Today, GMA, as Dad Denies Hoax

Falcon Heene vomits twice on-air during morning show rounds

(Newser) – The Heene family made the morning show rounds today, denying that the “Balloon Boy” saga and search for assumed-missing son Falcon was a publicity stunt. “I went through such a rollercoaster of emotions yesterday, to have people say that, I think is extremely pathetic,” dad Richard told Good Morning America. Falcon, who suffers from asthma, vomited on-air during that and a subsequent interview.

When asked again by Today whether the whole episode was a hoax, Heene said, “Absolutely not, and now I’m starting to get a little ticked off.” He attributed Falcon’s comment on Larry King Live that “we did this for the show” to mean that a television photographer had asked him earlier to show how he got into the attic. The Larimer County Sheriff’s Department will question the family again about the sequence of events.

I do so hope this was not a hoax and more than that I am most glad the little one was indeed safe, if indeed this was some hoax the adults deserve to have the children taken and placed in a decent home where they will not be exploited. Reply
