Anna Nicole Took Drugs While Pregnant

(Newser) – More sad details about Anna Nicole Smith's drug use emerged during the Howard K. Stern hearing yesterday, as babydaddy Larry Birkhead testified that she took methadone while pregnant with daughter Dannielynn out of fear that she'd go into shock and lose the baby if she stopped. As to why she was taking methadone in the first place, Birkhead said she was trying to alleviate back pain caused by her large breast implants, the New York Daily News reports.

He also said the ex-Playmate suffered from headaches, swollen hands, and seizures, and added to earlier testimony that she drank out of baby bottles, noting that she kept baby food by her bed to snack on.

Look, we all know how much a troubled soul Smith was. She was on drugs off drugs, blah blah blah. It's sickening that someone would even consider using while expecting. I have 2 sons and 1 daughter, and my wife never used while pregnant. Although, after they were born i let her party all she wanted b/c of the hell she went through. People are people but jesus, who cares celeb's bullshit anymore? Really?
