Security-camera tape of David Letterman “in a compromising position” with a young female staffer is the next shoe to drop in the scandal surrounding the CBS late-night host, the National Enquirer reports. “Dave apparently didn’t know the location of the security cameras at his Late Night studios,” says a source, who hints that the footage could sink his career and marriage.
“If the tape makes its way into the criminal case, it’ll explode his marriage to smithereens,” says the source, referring to proceedings against a CBS employee who tried to blackmail Letterman, 62, over his affairs. “It’s one thing for him to have publicly admitted to having had sexual relations with some women on his staff. It’s another to see him in the throes of passion with one of those women.”
