(Newser) – President Obama urged MIT to get cracking on green energy research today, saying America’s future depends on it. “The nation that wins this competition will be the nation that leads the global economy,” he said. “I want America to be that nation. It’s that simple.” He used the opportunity to push climate change legislation, the Boston Globe reports, promising that it would make the country more efficient.

Actually, dawgs, I donated to both Clinton and Obama early on, but never worked for Obama until the Clinton campaign had ended. If I had really wanted to help Obama I'd have left Hawaii and worked in a swing state. Anyone who is familiar with any of my posting history here knows I'm a proud, staunch liberal. Why don't you start every post about being a Fox News believer who voted for the Republicans in 2008?

@KG you should pre-face all of your statement with I worked on the Obama campaign. Then make your points after that.
