(Newser) – Glenn Beck’s appendix accomplished today what the nasty wishes of liberals everywhere couldn’t: It took him off the air. Beck excused himself early from his national radio show; an exec at his production company confirmed the operation. “Before going under Glenn asked the doctor to draw out the surgery procedure on a blackboard,” Christopher Balfe joked to NTS MediaOnline.

You forget that when Beck was a liberal on CNN and had a hospital stay he spent ten shows griping about American Healthcare. When, he was offered a more lucrative contract from Fox and became a conservative he decided American healthcare was fabulous. Well, any surgery is painful and I feel for the guy. I just wish he felt anything except a buck.

He's been critical of healthcare, but he's more critical of government running healthcare. He was dumped by CNN 'cause they have no balance, only bias - it's why they're running dead last in news ratings.

i had acute apendicitis a year ago. thankfully i had insurance from the company i worked for. the hospital bill ALONE was $23,000.00. i was not even in the hospital a full 24 hours. told the surgeon i had to get out of there. shocked i was, when i found out what bc/bs paid.

Hospital HR: Sorry but do you have pre-approval for this surgery?..Beck: No its a emergency and if I don't get this out: I'll die!... HR: Sorry if you don't have pre-approval from you insurance. You will have to be put on a waiting list for a doctor. Could you have a seat in the waiting room please. The wait time is now 15 hours for the next doctor.... Beck: WTF.... Reply

Won't be like that for Beck. Remember how reports have come out that while many people were getting really bad terms on loans the rich and the powerful were getting extremely good terms? Same with insurance. Beck one who doesn't go through all the crap others do.
