(Newser) – Near-daily religious counseling has helped the family cope with the loss of Jett, say John Travolta and Kelly Preston, who spoke out for the first time since his January death. “We've been working very hard every day as a family to heal,” Travolta says, "We have our own way of doing it, and it has been helping." The family was taking part in a roundtable interview for Old Dogs, which stars 9-year-old daughter Ella Bleu, USA Today reports.

“We decided it was OK to come out and promote, to introduce her to the world and to give her a beautiful future in film,” says Travolta, who also stars in the movie along with his wife. Preston says the “outpouring of love from, really, worldwide has been extraordinary. It's been our friends, our family, our church. We partake in spiritual counseling pretty much daily.”

Sad thing is the USA Today story doesn't even mention that his religion is Scientology, as though they were trying to avoid mentioning it.

@OG_travis.......roll with oneworld.... I just agreed with you.....I decided to expand my thoughts about Travolta's "public life". It was his decision to stop giving meds to his son. Now he has to live with that fact.....You deal with pain your way and I'll deal with pain my way (with God)........It works for me!.

You are wrong doingtherightthing. His church has a god and it is no different from your god. I get so nervous when you religious people start picking on another religion. Someone always ends up dead. See WW2, Kosovo, or the entire middle east. Leave the religion mockery to us atheists. We don't build death camps.
