Limbaugh Loves Palin Memoir

Right wing's leading light heaps praise on new book

(Newser) – Introducing into the public discourse the possibility that he has never read a book about policy, Rush Limbaugh today described Sarah Palin's forthcoming memoir, Going Rogue, as "truly one of the most substantive policy books I've read." He continued, "This woman, Gov. Palin, clearly is jazzed by policy, particularly environmental policy and energy policy." The former Alaska governor will celebrate the release of the book Tuesday by appearing on Limbaugh's radio show.

That being said, I would LOVE to listen to a republican candidate with some sort of common sense. It's funny, I've voted liberal and conservative up here but couldn't even imagine voting for any of the Republicans we hear from most. Enough already! Where is the viable alternative? It's all a big joke! I'm being serious. If the Republican Party wants to win in 2012 or ever again you have to win some of the center votes...and you won't come close with the losers mentioned above.

Bill Clinton and Dubya were boozing coke-heads and Obama likes cigarettes (and more, no doubt). I did not vote for Dubya--although I felt that he was the lesser of two evils. I have always believed that the man is a tool...and a fool. He was steered by the Cheney machine into getting us embroiled in a long, futile and horrendously costly war--both in terms of lives and dollars. My presidential votes will go for third-party candidates until the major parties can offer someone who won't use the constitution for toilet paper--and BHO most certainly does NOT fit the bill.

I sent this to Cal Woodward on his hit piece review; Cal neglects to mention that one of the first things Palin did when Governor was to sell the Governor's jet for @ $2 million dollars. That savings makes the $20,000 expenses for travel seem piddling. I remind you that Obama dissed visiting the wounded soldiers in Landschule, Germany, and worked out at the posh ritz Carlton instead. Cal also neglects to mention the cost of Obama's grand tour of Europe prior to his election. It was our tax dollars which paid for that extravagance. I remember reading about $500 meals for Obama. That alone convinces me that Cal had a "hit" piece in mind when he reviewed Palin's book. I call it skewed - or screwed - "sorry, mom. He also neglected to compare Palin's house "problem" with the Tony Resko scandal surrounding Obama's house purchase. That has been conveniently swept under Cal's rug. He should have been honest and declared that he had written a love letter to Obama and a mash note to Palin. This is journalism? No! Well, he does not claim to be honest and fair in his comments. I've taken the time to review both Palin and Obama. She at least had experience governing. Reply
