Eggos in Short Supply

Trouble at two of four plants is to blame

(Newser) – Hang on to those Eggos extra tight. Kellogg is rationing supplies around the nation and may continue to do so well into next year. The trouble stems from problems at two of four bakeries. One in Atlanta got shut down temporarily when bacteria showed up in a sample, then ran into further delays when heavy rains brought flooding. Another plant in Tennessee is undergoing repairs, reports the Christian Science Monitor.

“We are working around the clock to restore Eggo store inventories to normal levels as quickly as possible,” says a spokeswoman.
