Grant Central Pizza in Georgia asks parents to take tots outside

(NEWSER) - Do you like listening to screaming children while you eat? No? Well, Grant Central Pizza feels your pain. The Atlanta-area restaurant has added a new message to its menu: "We respectfully ask that parents tend to their crying tots outside." Grant Central's co-owner Donnie Parmer tells Fox 5 that the restaurant is still family-friendly, but that Yelp reviewers have complained about crying and unsupervised kids. More»

(NEWSER) - Days after a new "Snowmaggedon" slammed the Pacific Northwest, an ice storm and floods have left two dead in the region. Seattle's snow began Tuesday night; the city measured a daily snowfall of 6.8 inches early yesterday, blowing away the previous record of 2.9 inches in 1954. Washington's governor declared a state of emergency as airports and schools closed and at least 300,000 households suffered blackouts. Flooding blocks roadways, strands residents

(NEWSER) - A deluge of heavy rain, wind, tornadoes, and nickel-sized hail is giving Houston-area residents a major headache today, the Houston Chronicle reports. A fast-moving storm front pummeled the city with winds reaching 60mph and up to 4.5 inches of rain, shutting part of Highway 288 and flooding a dozen other freeway intersections. Hip-hop star opening place in Atlanta's airport

(NEWSER) - Ludacris is launching his own restaurant in Atlanta's busy Hartsfield-Jackson airport. "Chicken and beer coming soon!" the 34-year-old hip-hop star tweeted. Ludacris' eatery will be yet another addition to his entrepreneurial endeavors, which include Cognac and headphones. He also is expected to have a new album out this year called Ludaversal, reports Rolling Stone .
