NYC Man Jumps to His Death—In Front of Kids

Friends say 53-year-old showed no signs he was suicidal

(Newser) – A New York man leapt from his apartment window to his death last night while his young daughters looked on in horror. “There were never any signs of problems,” a friend tells the Post. “I'd never expect anything like this from him.” The 53-year-old died instantly after falling 16 stories from the Upper West Side apartment he shared with his wife and daughters, 12 and 16. “I ran upstairs barefoot,” a neighbor says, “and his daughters screamed, ‘Our dad just jumped out the window.’”

a man i knew hung himself while his wife ran out to the store ,the baby in the crib! he had lost his job and everyone thought it was because ,as it was his fault,he let his family down financially.she came to find out very soon after,he got another woman pregnant.(she wanted her share of social security interest!) so,you never know.what made him feel he had to punish himself in front of his children?the selfish b
